Luisa Konga is a Mukongo-German engineer with a solid background in mechanical and space engineering, driven by a lifelong passion for human spaceflight and space exploration. Her work bridges technology, strategy, and communication - with the ultimate goal of seeing Earth from space herself.

She currently works at POLARIS Spaceplanes, a German aerospace company developing reusable horizontal-take-off spaceplanes and pioneering linear aerospike propulsion systems.

Her research focuses on the conceptual design and structural modelling of horizontal-take-off spaceplanes, combining advanced lightweight structures and reusability concepts.

Luisa is actively training with the PARSEC Astronaut Discovery Program, building the operational, psychological, and team-based skills essential for future space missions.

She lives and works in Bremen, Germany.
